........from the teams past to play now (assuming they were in their prime) who would it be?

Would you bring back a guy based on need or just your favourite player?

Some guys I would consider:

Art Monk (help at WR)

Russ Grimm (upgrades the LG spot and the OL as a whole)

Sonny Jurgensen (no question marks at QB and more)

Dexter Manley (pass rush improves dramatically)

Gary Clark (my all time fav player, helps at WR).

I'd love any of them, but would go for Monk, his safe hands and ability to move the chains along with his downfield blocking would be so valuable.

Geez, you picked all of the guys I was thinking about.

Dexter or Monk might do the most good, but I would love to see what Sonny could do in a Gibbs' offense.

The greatest tragedy in D.C. sports is that Sonny only got one year with Lombardi.

This is a tough, tough question.

I'd probably vote for Dexter. He's an animal, a fearsome addition to our defense, and an immediate upgrade to our defensive line.

My extremely close second vote would be for Art Monk. Not only a great clutch receiver but also a great team guy.

And I'm leaving off about 15 other guys that I'd love to have back.

1. John Riggins - The man simply could not be brought down before gaining at least 4 yards. Goaline situations=money. Plus he was charismatic. I guy who could actually back up what he says.

2. Sammy Baugh - from just reading about him, and seeing the video clips of him, there wasn't anything he couldn't do with a football.

3. Dexter Manley - offensive linemen feared going against him, QB's couldn't concentrate with Dex all jacked up. Another very charismatic guy. He also had that big facial scar.
