I suppose we will trade down a get one of these guys I hope.
Warhead36
You need a good GM to draft great players past round 3....
NavyDave
Can you see the fans wanting us to pick him and we select a WR that ends up having a subpar season while Thorpe has a rookie of the year performance? Then fans will say of our Rookie WR, " He ain't Crap!!"

Or if we pick Crap and he sucks it will be "The Name fits"

Cskin
Where was Nate Burleson chosen by the Vikings? Off the top of my head he was from Nevada.... not a type flight school. I agree that a quality wideout can be found later in the draft. But... the chance of him making a big impact in year one is slim. Burleson is the exception... and he happened to place opposite Moss. I think the key is drafting a kid who is intelligent... run superb routes... and has soft hands. If he has those things... he can quickly become a reliable receiver in Gibbs' offense. SkinsFTW
We could always get lucky and get a good guy after the 3rd round. I dont think they did bad last year in the draft either.
jtyler42
The history of the draft shows that you can find good players at any pick in the draft, not sure any of those WR's from that list are top flight #1 WR's other than Chad Johnson... Mr. S
How come you didnt put Roscoe Parrish, he may fall to the third round, and I wouldnt mind taking him, plus, he may have some kinship to Taylor. Hannibal or Crap, ill take either of them.
Sanders 83
Burrleson was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2003 draft.
FlyinO
Hines Ward was a 3rd round pick, I think. Steve Smith was a steal in the 3rd round for the Panthers!
Sanders 83
Donald Driver was a 7th round pick in the 99.
Sebowski
Craphonso in the third would be awesome. He is a playmaker. At FSU he filled the shoes of Anquan Boldin, who filled the shoes of Javon Walker.
