Art
If the Bears hold on against the Giants up 14 now, this is a heck of a good day for us. If we can beat Cincy and get Arrington to make an early come back against Philly, I might start getting excited. At least until I see Brunell connect for 50 yards in a game . One step at a time ART, first lets concentrate all our Praying powers, and pray to the Football Gods to sit Brunell's butt on the pine. Then we can move on to the next step, stringing 2 wins in a row.
Tarhog
Man, I've already picked 10 winners in 'The Man' contest today, so far only missing on the Panthers and the Giants. If the Ravens and the Vikings pull out wins, I'll be on a Levitra-like high this week. But I'll take a Giant loss regardless!

Art
Damn Tom White crew giving the Giants a first down on a terrible roughing call. Man, he REALLY likes altering the outcome of games. He makes the right call, and it's Bears ball.

TheDiplomat
edit. mabye not WAY after, but if the warner call is appropriate then the brunell one should be as well

Agreed ... the key to this statement is the last sentence. Brunell was kept to under 100 yrds passing without any sacks. That is unacceptable and does not bode well for us no matter how lucky we are with other losses in the division. On a similar note, I had heard there were some problems with the playcalling (didn't see the game myself this weekend). Was that the case?

The story told was about how Breaux is having a hard time getting adjusted to the speaker system. Sometimes he'll call the play, but he will forget to push the button. It's caused several of our wasted time outs.

Ghost of
Craig Krenzel, someone who really wasn't expected to be anything as a pro and is a rookie is currently 8 for 21. Now those are Brunell numbers right? WRONG. He's thrown for 144 yards and a deep TD to Berrian. Brunell can't even get yards on below 50 percent completion. HE STINKS.
