milliondollarslim
Marcus Spriggs signed and practicing, Walt Harris participates in first practice after being medically cleared.
Fred Jones
Williams did say a week or two ago that Harris would be back and is going to push for the 3rd corner spot.
freakofthesouth
Good, good. Glad to hear it w/ Harris. How about Barrow?
milliondollarslim
George said coach Williams really likes Harris but I bet Bauman will give him a tough fight for that no. 3 spot.
Fred Jones
I am guessing that the skins are taking it easy with Barrow because of his knee. As I have said before, he has more going on in his knee than just tendonitis.
Leonard Washington
when are they going to cut jimoh...he stinks.

Barrow seems the type of vet who keeps in shape during the offseason and doesn't need training camp to get in shape.
Raub
I'd feel comfortable with Mitchell in the middle even if Barrow can't go full time when the season starts. Let him heal up good.

NavyDave
How tall is harris again? The new rules seem to make a tall corner that can cover a neccessity and jimoh needs a year of practice squad

Fred Jones
I didn't see it posted, but Gibbs was on at 6:50 P.M on George Michaels. GM asked him about Rock and Sultan. GM, apparently, likes Sultan and want to see him make the team. Gibbs of course didn't come out say who he likes, but he gave me the impression that he likes Rock more. He said Ernest (Byner) likes Sultan a lot, and wouldn't comment directly about Sultans' prospect of making the team. He talked about K. Jones and said that he played well. He said the Ramsey sack by Julius was not really his fault. He also said that the defense 1st string played well and the special teams played well. He said the offense still needs work. Gibbs also talked about McCants and liked what he has seen thus far. He said he is big and has big hands and be a good target inside the red zone.
