Eventually moved up to one of these: I got one for Christmas one year, and we launched it from Guy Mason park in DC, which is adjacent to the Naval Observatory, where the VP lives. When the parachute deployed it floated down across the fence into the Naval Observatory. My older sister simply climebed over the fence and retrieved the rocket. The guards never even showed up.
