NoCalMike
Mort just said on ESPNnews that Jimmy Johnson thought Parcells took an underachieving team in Dallas that had talent and made them play to their potential, and now Gibbs will take over an underachieving Skins team with even MORE talent and should have them a playoff team soon. Art
What worried me was Mort said Johnson told him that Johnson asked Gibbs if he missed coaching and Gibbs responded that he didn't miss training camp but did miss the paycheck. We know Gibbs has had money issues in the past. I hope it's not a money thing as his primary motivation here.

redman
Art, if that's true it's a valid question, however Gibbs' integrity is unquestioned. Plus, I doubt it's valid because of the success of his racing team.

orlskinsfan
of course it has something to do with money.....he will be getting 25 million reasons to come back and coach.....but I also beleive he has coaching in his blood and now that his children are all grown up he is doing this for himself. Well you can never overlook money, but Gibbs is a devout Christian whose character is unquestioned. Even with Parcels money was a fact from what I read. Supposedly a divorce settlement had sucked him dry.

aREDSKIN
$25 million + $40 million 5% of ownership @800 million= $65 million- a ton of money that anyone would coach for IMO. These are approximate figures that have been recently reported.
