Official Game Thread: Redskins vs. Bears

I think the decision to throw on goal to go was a gutsy one by Spurrier, he knows he can get guys open down there. And if Timmay completes it, he has a TD and his confidence back to manage the rest of the game.

As much as some of you jibba-jabba about running the ball, even Nebraska has to throw at some time. And if Timmay can't throw it at all, this team is as one dimensional trying to run it on every down as it is trying to throw on everydown. And if that's the case, hello loss #10.

Not that that's a bad thing (come on top 5 draft pick).

This is Spurrier trying to throw the ball in winter conditions, typical ignorance of the circumstances.

the guy is going to do what he likes to do, regardless of the personnel or where the team is playing.

Give him another year Bulldog. Coaches usually figures things out in game #33 of their coaching career.

3 straight passing plays inside the 10.

You can already put together the post-game quotes already right?

"We tried to get more balance. We passed 50 times? Shoot. We need to run the ball more."

Exactly how is Champ's ineptitude any coaches fault?

You can't have it both ways. If Iffy was supposed to get over there and didnt you may have a point. To call out Champ means it was his fault, not Iffys and not the coaches.
