LOL watching the school closing ticker on snow days was a top 5 childhood experience. It was really like the NBA draft-- you were staring down your backpack and your snowpants, with no idea how the day would unfold.

We listened to the local AM station. That way could lay in bed while listening in

I remember school get canceled on the threat of snow in Virginia Beach. Good times...😄
