SkinsFTW
Ugh, the Norvalskins. It's like going back to find the 2003 Spurrier game when we beat the Pats. Try this one instead:

Terry Allen must have felt like he was running into a friggin wall half the time.

hail2skins
Terry Allen actually ran for just about 100 yards in both victories over the Cowboys that season. Cowboys were favored by 13 in the early season game at RFK, and 17 in the one at Dallas. I think Aikman must've gotten hurt in the RFK one, because Wade Wilson QB'd most of that game for Dallas. We were so used to the winning during the 20 year Allen/Gibbs run prior that the plummet into scrubville was shocking. Still, in 94-95 we at least accepted that we were in rebuilding mode. It wasn't until the collapse after the 7-1 start in 96 that people started to have big concerns about Norv. And we've had the 20-year journey through the wilderness since he finally got fired. This current season kind of reminds me of having the potential of being like 1999, where we have the chance to establish a strong position in the division heading into the homestretch of the season. Riggo-toni
Heath Shuler's greatest game as a pro is when he goes 11 of 24 for 154 yards and one TD....
