Jim Webb made a good statement during the Democratic debates when he said the Republicans were not the Democrats enemies. Unfortunately not all people think that way and there is a growing minority from both sides that think the number one enemy in the world are those who are in the opposite party or opposing political camp as they see it (Conservatives vs Liberals and or Progressives etc.). Just need to visit Free Republic or Democratic Under ground for examples of this. The hatred expressed on these to two forums is manifest. I truly hope posters there really aren't as evil and vile as they come across but it is worrisome. Reminds me of the period leading up to Colombia's La Violencia.
