But it still begs the question....why not just learn the tables? Once memorized you have them at instant recall and it takes up 1/4 of the space this technique uses. 1,978 x 896. I still see zero benefit for doing math this way. What's more is that learning multiplication tables leds straight into division because division is just multiplication backwards.
