Your very own Groundhog Day. Hypothetical

How long would you want it to last?

Assuming it is your day off (well even if it isn't who cares), it is a nice day weather wise, you have nothing planned. Just a blank page of a day.

Think of the possibilities for self improvement, learn several languages, read a library worth of books, learn new skills or master a musical instrument like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. Get so good at Golf you could crush the Pros.

Or you could spend the day killing everyone who you didn't like, keep trying over and over through trial and error on how to successfully rob a bank, you could do some pretty crazy **** and the consequence would only last for a day. Treating life as a video game with a reset button. You would however have to live with yourself. If you chose to rape someone or kill someone, even though you see them the next day, and its like it never happened, you know what you did. Could you do that?

All the basic rules of Groundhog day apply, if you die, no matter you wake up in bed as usual the next day, skills learnt will be remembered, you cannot change your physical appearance etc. You wake up in the same state every day no matter what. And after your set time frame, tomorrow comes and life matters. I

Personally, 5 years is as long as I would ever want. And im not sure that I wouldn't be permanently screwed up from 5 years of "Groundhog Day"

If I knew exactly when it would end... Say 30 repeats, I'd learn exactly when to buy and sell stocks to make an absolute fortune in just a day.

Similar to me, where I would spend a some time at the casino near the end of my 5 years. I'd be watching and remembering where the roulette ball lands. Instant $ to be set with when tomorrow actually comes. Heck, why not be trading on the Iphone while placing roulette bets?

Traveling very far would be tough. Remember that you wake up in the same bed every day, so if you take 20 hours to get to Thailand, you got 4 hours there. Don't ask me how the international date line works in this scenario...
