DALLAS — Motivational speaker and author Zig Ziglar has died in Texas. He was 86.

Ziglar's executive assistant Laurie Magers says Ziglar died Wednesday at a hospital in the Dallas suburb of Plano.

Saw him a few years back at a motivational seminar. His enthusiasm was memorable.

Saw him a few years ago as well. He had recently had a bad fall & I believe was suffering from either vertigo or slight memory loss as he had hit head. He had his daughter with him walking him though everything. If she wasn't there, you'd never know he had any issues, he was still so smooth.
