HRNY4ZRNY
So my Mom wants to convert 50 or so home videos to DVD. She said Costco does it for 18.99 a tape... Screw that. What is the best converter to buy? Is this easy or a pain in the butt? Any insight will be helpful.
RVAbrendan
VHS to DVD Convertor is your best option. Easy to use, too.
RedskinFeathers
I have no idea, but I wanted to do this with home videos for my parents for Christmas so hopefully you get good feedback!
ChampSkinsFanatic
VHS to DVD convertor is probably your best option, but if you want something cheaper and harder, get an easy cap or dazzle. Search amazon.com for that
S.T.real,lights,out
I have never tried it before but there are a bunch of options on amazon. I know my uncle does it all the time so i cant imagine it being that hard

HRNY4ZRNY
They have a 40 dollar converter at Radio Shack. My question is... am I gonna have to buy some software to go with it? So I hook my VCR with the tape in it up to the convertor- to my computer that has a blank DVD in it. Will it then give me directions on what to do? I really hate buying something getting home and realizing I gotta spend 50 more bucks for software.
DCBnG21
Buy the VHS to DVD all in one. It's a pain on the computer.
Slacky McSlackAss
The units cost about $200, but its quite a bit easier than using your computer.
