Warpath11 Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 Has anyone ever been to St. Maarten? My wife and I are headed down for a 5 night trip in early May. If anyone has ever been, I'd like some ideas on things to do/must sees and any restaurant recommendations. We have a place to stay so that part is done we just need ideas on things to do/see. thanks. Its the bar next to the airport where that video is shot: http://www.sunsetbeachbar.com/ Kids stand on the beach behind the runway and get blown in to the water by the jet exhaust. Its awesome to watch with a Mai Tai. Take the ferry over to Anguilla for a day. We also enjoyed a catamaran day trip to a nearby snorkeling place called Prickly Pear. As far as Anguilla my wife has been there and loved it so it might be a good choice. They come down close, but that was a near disaster seeing as how he did hit the fence. When the planes take off (especially the Airbus and 747) people get blown off the beach into the water.
