dahibachi
our biggest need is at OT and I dont see the fit here...now if Marcus McNeil is being shopped that's worthy of having a thread get started but I'm okay with Hicks ar RG or Rinehart should he win out over him. Jammal Brown IS a tackle
chow184
Well if he fits the ZBS and Saints will trade him straight up for Rocky...then yes it would be beneficial for both parties. We need to get a pick from Bills or Raiders for Campbell so that we can pick up a LB. I am not sure at the inside or outside yet though....maybe the outside....Blades can hold it down for a lil while raiders are about to cut kirk morrison, he'd be worth a 7th to secure him. ABSTRACT
raiders are about to cut kirk morrison, he'd be worth a 7th to secure him. If he's cut...why would we have to give up a 7th to secure him. Can't we just pick him up.... and yeah if Kirk Morrison was cut..I would love to pick that guy up..He's only 28.
postong
I realize that but wasn't he a tackle in college? Also, it seems like we have a log jam at Guard. if any OG was gonna play RT over Heyer, it would be Artis Hicks
MrJL
CR plays OG.... He was an LT in college so playing tackle positions might not be out there.
terrifNick21
Kirk Morrison is very underrated. If he's cut, you'd have to consider signing him.

KDawg
the skins gave up a 7th to get Erasmus James to prevent him from being straight up released. And we all know how that one worked out. We could probably just sign him. If not, oh well.
littleskins
I don't know now I kinda want to see what Trent Williams can do at left tackle. I also wonder if Rienhardt could beat out Heyer at the RT position. -Anyone think that's possible? I think Artis Hicks has already done that... dahibachi
Oh???....Well they have him listed at OG when he got drafted.. Though he is a natural G the Skins website has him listed as a G/T and in his description as a versatile lineman that can play both Guard and Tackle
dahibachi
At Northern Iowa, he appeared in 40 games with 37 starts at left tackle. Rinehart earned consensus All-American and unanimous All-Gateway Conference first-team selections in 2007. He was a semifinalist for the Draddy Award given to the nation’s top scholar athlete. So yeah.... he was a LT in college but the Skins have mainly used him as a G
SkinsDukes
No he played OG...He can also be moved to C to be backup. The poster was asking if Rinehart was a tackle in college. He definitely was. He started 37 games there for UNI.
MrJL
Oh???....Well they have him listed at OG when he got drafted.. sometimes they do that if the guy isn't considered NFL worthy at his position. He first played G at one of the showcase bowls. Senior Bowl or something.
morpheusmeyers
No he played OG...He can also be moved to C to be backup. The other poster was correct. CR played LT in college. grego
in browns last year playing- 08- he graded out lower than both heyer and artis hicks at tackle according to pro football focus.
Est.1974
Are we really in the running for this guy or not, his name crops up around here more often than some of the guys who actually play for us
aREDSKIN
Jammal Brown IS a tackle Not only that but a pro bowl Left Tackle. IMO TW will start at RT IF we can get a solid player here at LT.

gorebd82
I think that sending Carter and McIntosh would be a reasonable start to a package for Jammal Brown. Bring him in and let him compete with Trent Williams for the left side. Loser gets the right side.
dahibachi
will one thing is for sure... he is on the trade block and the skins can use a couple more solid o-lineman. wouldn't hurt for us to inquire. if we land him, i think we'd have a solid front line for this season and then next season we can see about upgrades at G and C. Est.1974
Isn't Brown a RFA who is looking for his pay-day. Are we really going to pony up serious $$$ for him in addition to the contract that Williams is going to get ? And then stick one at RT ?
