Why can't we finish our drives?

A campbell led offense can't score points. Has anybody not figured this out by now? Campbell couldn't throw TD's and score in college. We couldn't score points with Campbell in Gibbs' offense. We couldn't score points with Campbell in Saunders' offense. We can't score points with Campbell in Zorn's offense. We can't score points with Sherman Lewis calling plays. Are all of these offenses the problem, or is it just more likely our quarterback just sucks and can't make good things happen??

Because JC made some plays today that were great, but under serious pressure. We had a decent running game today but no real threat on the ground, no real threat in the air either and not only because we lack ANY playmakers on offense but also because our o-line is HORRIBLE, partyl because of massive injuries tho. So even tho we can make some plays, our o-line simply will not be able to hold up to sustain any long scoring drives.

Our defense played great ALL day, but they chose to choke it away at the end, we have a nice defense but not a great one. We got picked apart when it mattered and if they let Romo sits to pee throw like that all game, we would have prolly lost a lot worse.

Bad teams play bad that's all.

This loss is solely on the coach (or coaches).

Jason played well, in fact, the whole team played well. Well enought that we should have had a win.

Coach - Why did we not go for it when we had the ball at their 38 on a forth and 2?

Why did we not blitz ONE time during the cowgirls final drive?

Why did we try a field goal with 15 seconds left at their 21?

Why not take a shot at the endzone?

BAD, BAD coaching all around.

This game is solely on the coach........GOOD GAME PLAYERS!

They just don't trust JC and they put to much trust in Suisham.

Seriously? Campbell goes 24 for 37 for 256 yards...and we only have 6 points to show for it?

What is our problem? We seem to be able to drive the ball but never ever able to score any points. This is so ugly it's not even funny.

ur still asking htis question after 5 yrs of jason candle? it aint rocket science.

and as for candle's yards. his yards come spread all over different drives. not lot of it come on a few drives where it would lead to TDs.

So it's the coaches fault that we didn't score points? I mean I see your point with the 15 seconds left on the 21, but Suisham missed that field goal, the coaches weren't the ones unable to finish drives.

Campbell seems to be able to move the ball, but no farther than the 30. That's what I'm talking about. What the screwball is up with that?

look at Romos yards. He was even WORSE than Campbell yet they still won! Even though our defense played sooo well, and our offense moved the ball most of the game (even if they couldn't put it into the end zone).

Campbell didn't play THAT bad, he just didn't fit drive! That being said, I do agree we need a new QB (and a new kicker too)

thats because JC doesnt attack downfield....count how many times he throws the ball past the safeties!!!! No one is afraid or look at us as a threat downfield, everything is right in front of the opponents linebackers or towards the sidelines, he constantly dumps the ball short of the 1st down marker on 3rd downs, and he takes too many sacks outside of the pocket. smh...INEXCUSIBLE!!!

Bingo! Sherm, no disrespect intended.

Cambell plays decent when the defense is playing soft and the skins can run there set plays. As soon as they tighten up and get serious he gets all rattled because he doesn't have the ability to make good decisions, such as throwing the ball straight at a defender instead of running for six yards, which is exactly how this game ended. Ever since Spurrier we have been cursed with quarterbacks. Brunell was a NFL caliber quarterback, but he was old-- but at least he had the guts to beat the cowpukes. Cambell is weak, soft, and makes horrible decisions under pressure, not what you look for out of a leader

Bu-bu-bu-but he has a good QB rating! Bu-bu-bu-but the o-line isn't good enough! Bu-bu-bu-but it's not his fault!

you're right. Romo sits to pee played worse but here is the difference between the two. when it matters, when ur team needs a winning drive, a winning TD, Romo sits to pee does and have done it in the past. Candle can't lead a winning drive, winning TD late in the game even if his life depended on it. Why? it's simple. he is a horrendous qb

both had a chance today. Romo sits to pee late in the game lead a winning drive. candle had a chance to counter and have his own winning drive. are we shocked at the end result? Candle is one of the worst starting QB inthe league.

LOL look at the rookie QB stafford today. hell look at brady quinn. both no more than 2 yrs in the league and have done something candle has not been able to do in 5 yrs.

LOL

SO I wonder what we learned.

POOR COACHING-

Yes no blitzing on that Cowboys drive, and pulled safetys back?

NOT GOING FOR IT with 15 seconds on the 21yd line. Zorn FAILED. Not only that--- he left Suisham on the field the entire time they were reviewing that call prior to half time. He froze his own kicker.

What we learned? Portis is done, and we need players that have heart to win. Rock Cartwright is quite capable and he deserves the playing time going forward.

Season has been over but we learned a lot, as a team they can play at a high level. But they need to clean house with coaches. The coaching staff doesn't let them succeed. I feel for the players that want to win, and give it their all to have the coach only be an anchor for the. proud of the players like rock and that defense

Our coaches systematically refuse to let Campbell win the game for us.

Look at Campbell's redzone #s.

Look at Campbell's 3rd down #s today.

I look at the Cowboys and I see a team that puts their QB in a position where he can make plays. I see the Redskins and I see a team that takes the ball out of Campbell's hands whenever points are on the line. That's the bottom line.
