warriorz
Use this thread to vent your frustrations about the Washington Redskins... It's the next morning and I'm not quite as mad as I was after the Lions game yesterday. Right after the game I HATED the Redskins. Hated yall. And I love the Redskins... That's what allows me to hate them. I cannot, even if I choose to or wanted to with all my heart, feel the same way for another team. Football would not be the same for me. I am tired of the last decade, damn near 2 decades of mediocrity. I want a team that can be respected. AND I MISS SEAN TAYLOR
Spade
ionno i'm still pissed, Snyder, Cerrato, Zorn, Blache, yeah I still hate them.
jujuskinsfan
I'm still pissed too! I usually get over losses 1 or 2 days after. I don't think I'll get over this one anytime soon. We lost to the freaking Lions and there's no excuses for that. My expectation for this team have dropped considerably. We will win 8 games at best. Polo3
I'm a avid visitor to this site, ExtremeSkins is my homepage and if I posted everytime I visited this site my post count would be well over 10,000 post. During training camp visiting this site was my addiction (and still is), all I read is how we were sharp in camp, how this team would be much better than last years team, how in his 2nd full year coach Zorn would have this team like a well oiled machine, how Campbell was sharp in practice, how Devin Thomas was going to have a break out season, how disrupted big Al would be in the middle, how Orakpo and Big Al lining up on the line together would bring chaos to opposing teams, how playing the top 3 teams (Pitt, Balt, NE) during preseason would make us tough once the season started and on and on and on... I started to believe "Damn we are going to whoop some arse this season" I started talking sheit to all my Cowboy friends about how nasty we were going to be this season and that we would win the NFC East this season. I even called the analyst that were saying we would finish last in the division haters.. After yesterday's lost I received so many text and phone calls that I had to turn my phone off, as I'm sitting here typing I'm trying to decide if I should even go to work this morning because I know my office is going to be plastered with newspaper clippings:doh:. I'm going to ALWAYS be a diehard fan however I no longer have hope for this team as long as we have these overpaid heartless, unemotional guys that we call football players on our team.. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this way, please share your thoughts so I can have some therapy from your comments because I'm going to need it today (hell all this week)..I'm sooooo dsgusted with this team right now I could just puke! HTTR..

D-Day
As a fan of the Redskins, the best advice I can give is to NEVER talk **** to opposing fans. It makes these looonnnggg lows much easier to get through. If someone still wants to talk **** too you, just agree with them.
Hogisme
I am still pissed because these guys dont give a crap....Cant stand looking at Zorns whiney face or Portis for that matter...Our D is brutal...Blache is not getting it done either...Clean house and get 1st round pick
sugarbear326
One thing that you mentioned, I was saying all day yesterday. There is no emotion on this team, that was evident yesterday. Is it the Skins have conformed to zorn's identity or is they have given up on zorn and wants him gone because they played like they have not won a game in 2 years. madredskinsfan
As a 52 year fan of the team, yesterday for the first time in my life I was rooting for them to lose. The Snyder/Cerrato regime has completely turned me 'to the dark side'. Cerrato needs to resign Snyder needs to sell the team Portis needs to be benched The $150M+ paid Haynesworth and Hall would have been better spent on more capable bodies, especially for the O line. Evilskinzfan47
A buddy of mine, who happens to be a Lions fan, text me before the game and said that the Lions were gonna kick our butts.I'm not one to talk smack before a game so i mssgd him back and just said,i hope not.I learned a long time ago not to count your chickens before they hatch and to NEVER under ANY circumstances talk smack while being a skins fan.I just makes life hell after a loss like this. But hey, hold your head high and take it just like you dished it.Be humbled and remember that we are always the off-season champions. And thats what matters.lol. skins island connection
As I sit here Monday morning, I wonder if the Redskins organization has hit its lowest of lows. IMO, there is nowhere to look but up, and there should be alot of looking in the mirror from most of the players and coaches. I could have understood a loss to the Lions, but not like that... SkinsRback04
Since the end of Gibbs1, the horrible truth is that we have been a mostly mediocre team with a few brief flashes of playoff effort (1-Turner, 2-GibbsII). We are now starting to become less than mediocre. This is very sad for all Redskin fans and most especially to the lifers. Everyone here knows what is wrong long term and short term. What is not needed anymore is the constant pontificating excusifying that the rabid Kool-Aiders on this board historically have offered up. You don't need to be connected to Pro Football in any manner to see what the issues are and to have some idea of what is needed to get out of this nightmare. We do not need a new owner. We need an owner who simply knows his limitations and lets the right people run this organization so he can sit back and bask in the glory. Jack Kent Cooke should be the model for any Redskin owner. You would think the Dan would realize this.
mrhetzler
For years, we've been driving to this destination and we've finally arrived as the worst team in the NFL. It was only a matter of time. These players seem to have an unwarranted sense of entitlement just because they are veterans or starters. When discussing the team players are not the ones to listen to, because they don't have the outside perspective that we do. Sure they have more detailed, more inside information, but they can't see the forest for the trees. The job of the players is to go out there and make a play. Shut up, get out there and make a f**king play! I'll be happy when they blow up this team. I won't shed a tear for any player or coach (or owner or GM). And boy am I glad I decided not to renew my tickets. Now I've gotta turn my back on them. We suck. NOW can we boo, Henson?
CrabR
i thought 6-10 or 5-11 now I am thinking of 3-13 or 4-12. I could see from preseason we had major issues Time to rebuild and bite the bullet for a few years To Snyder and Cerrato STOP TRADING THE DRAFT PICKS, try trading for draft picks instead

jarresc
From a dear friend and a lifelong Redskins fan. I just had to post this as it really hits home. I just hope this disaster ends and respectability returns. HTTR!! Ode to the Redskins There once was a man named Vince Who when he lost would just wince He taught us to fight With all of our might And pride was instilled by this Prince. There once was a man named Cooke Who from his L.A. mansion said, "look!" By GAWD in DC There's a fan base to be ...and a flight to DC he would book Cooke came to town and did wondrous things He built us a team - he brought home the bling! Lombardi returned in the form of a trophy - and play LOUD did the band! Three times over a Super Bowl champ, and life was just grand Coach Joe moved to Nascar and Norville came in We hired a Cowboy - our first cardinal sin! Coach Norv had excuses, but he spoke with a grin We got sick of that voice. Just shut up and win! Jack built us a new home, though he never did see it He built us a new home, hoping we could win in it RalJohn was formed The stadium was adorned 90,000 fans could now see it There once was a man named Snyder Who's shiftier than any living spider He knows how to make bank Even when his ships sank And he spins every story with delight He bought our dear 'Skins for a whole lotta dough And he promised a return to the big Football Show We all got excited We all were delighted As he began playing fantasy football with his dough Now Deion, Now Adam, Now Jeff and Now Bruce Now Marty, Now Steve - aw, hell what's the use! You added no value You talked a big game You used us for money And left all the same There once was a man names Zorn Who stumbled into a head coaching job forlorn He talked very softly He walked very lofty He was polished - not tattered and torn But when he met the Red Zone He freaked out - oh my! What play should I call now? What next shall I try? I've got a 300 pounder who wears 45 I've got a tall Kelly named Malcomb who can fly Then there's CP who's not all he's cracked up to be And don't forget about Cooley - who's really very cool-y. And what about Antwaan....that side stepping vice Who dances and prances and smiles so nice And Moss who is fast, but not very tall He is not a good option in the Red Zone at all Leave it up to Jason? That drone of a QB That mouth breathing vet who still plays like a newbie He's got a strong arm - yes, it is true But his inability to improvise is, well, nothing new Touchdows. We need them but none can be found We've looked in the air and down on the ground Our blocking is awful, the running game bleak And our secondary is shredded like swiss cheese every week As a fan this is frustrating It's so hard to watch! We've not won that much Since I bought my Swiss Swatch! This past weekend - it was the last straw We lost to the Lions! (not the ones with 4 paws) They'd not won a game in almost 2 years But were happy to hear that the Redskins were near Last year was the Rams who got their first win Not from the Lions, but from our dear 'Skins And the Lions were happy we came to Ford Field They knew we would crumble - we had no forcefield They beat us - how could they? On paper we're better! Just read the fine print in Hayneworth's offer letter! He was carted off the field? What?!?! Are you kidding?!?! This team is headed for a big wreck...the tires are skidding. The wreck - it did come in the form of a loss To the winless Detroit Lions and their Car Owning boss And Danny, old boy, just keeps spending money He thinks he can just buy the Trophy Lombardi He still doesn't get That this game ain't a big bet After all of these years he still ain't learned nothing yet!
