Thinking Skins
When word emerged this year that Scott Pioli was considering leaving the Patriots, if Snyder had any kind of brain he would've thrown a fortune at Pioli to come here instead of Kansas City. Watch KC emerge to be a big-time threat within 2 years, especially in that division. By Year 3 they'll probably be perennial playoff contenders. Will we? Open question. But I have more faith in Pioli than with Vinny. yeah, you've gotta question why we wern't even in the running for Pioli this year or for the guy who went to Atlanta last year. If Snyder's so big on trying to improve the team, you'd think he'd have been making the same inquisitive moves about them as he made about Cutler and Sanchez. Snyder does not want a good GM because he wants to be the GM. This was made perfectly clear when he brought back Vinny. After Marty S kicked him to the curb, Vinny didn't even sniff another job interview. No other team would hire him. His employment here is for one reason and for one reason only -- he understands Danny calls the shots and has no problem with it.
SirClintonPortis
What GM problems? It's always the QB's fault. Everyone else is blameless.

SirClintonPortis
Except the owner. He's got Portis to fall back on in case the masses rebel and cut off 'funding' to him. ;)
FrFan
The position that should be addressed is the owner. He is the one making the big decisions, the one who hired, fired, and within a year got his yes man back while no other team showed any interest in him (that speaks volume). I wish we will have a real pro at the helm, the sooner the better.
