Monk in the Hall!
Given our depth problems and aging line- I would not give up a pick for a guy like this. But, to pick him up for a few million for 2 years... it makes me wonder. He is injury prone, on down side of good career- in those respects he sounds like the typical acquisition we have been trying to rid ourselves of. But we have a need while we develop. Then again- who would we cut- Heyer? Sounds like I am talking myself out of considering Pace. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/03/07/rams-trying-like-hell-to-trade-pace/

Skins-in-CT
Not sure how this would add anything to our aging line except more age....
morpheusmeyers
He is old, injury prone, and expensive. I hope not.
alwaysaskin
Not worth it, we're trying to get younger on the O-Line, we don't need another Jansen

DaGhost
not a good deal here... we have enough aging, injury prone linemen on the downside of their career....

Laron Burgundy
Yeah, it wouldn't be a good idea. We need to draft an OT in the first round this year to start at RT.
TheREALJBird
Too old now. He's a HOF OT, but he's at the end of his line. Like others have said we need to get younger on the Oline, not older.

jnhay
If, like the post suggests, he is released and willing to take a pay cut, I wouldn't mind a short contract. I doubt we'd get him at a great bargain though.

DaMuller7
Nahhhh, like everyone else has said "He is old and injury prone, he will also want a little too much money in the wake of his recent career slump..."

Siven
Orlando Pace = old, slow, a shell of his former self. Jon Jansen = old, slow, a shell of his former self. WAIT! seriously what is up with fans on here, thinking one teams garbage is our gold. Orlando Pace has just been flat out terrible the past few years. He won't magically get better because he'll come to washington.
uncleelroy89
Pace is 34 this year. Maybe 5 years ago i would say yes but now NO.
str8jacket
As good as there was for a long time. But no, look at how his loss decimated the Rams and he is just getting way too many injuries. We need youth. Add a good draft pick on the line and maybe elton brown in free agency and i like it.
REDSKINZ-RIDEORDIE
Never thought I'd see the day where I'd be seeing no to Olando Pace.............guess that day is here.......... HELL NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Xero21
So, he's on the downside of his career, old, and injury-prone. We already have Jon Jansen.
markmx
No need for the skins to fatten his retirement account. Let someone else overpay for this turd.
wvtbred
Not worth it, we're trying to get younger on the O-Line, we don't need another Jansen I disagree we do need another Jansen.... .....but he has to be a YOUNG Jansen not at the current age
