Bubble Screen
...can win, not one, but TWO playoff games in one season, yet the Cowgirls can't win so much as ONE playoff game in 13 YEARS!!!...

CM916
I made a thread no one cared about after last year's cowboy playoff loss proposing the theory that the Cardinals passed on their curse back in 1998. The Cards are the oldest team in the NFL with just a 4-5 postseason record (including today) and one championship 60 years ago to show for it. So their two wins before this season were the 1947 championship over Philly and the 1998 game against Dallas that started their losing streak. dcoles11
How is it that if the Eagles beat the Giants today that the Redskins will have a combined record of 3-0 vs the 2 teams in the NFC Championship game but couldn't even make the playoffs?! Tom [Giants fan]
Parity is a scary thing. Do you like it better than the 49er's and Cowboys being in the NFC Championship game almost every year? I love parity. It makes the NFL even more exciting.
dcoles11
;6039500']Do you like it better than the 49er's and Cowboys being in the NFC Championship game almost every year?I love parity. It makes the NFL even more exciting. Can't we just go back to the 80s when the Redskins, Giants, and 49ers were winning everything and the Cowboys were terrible? dcoles11
..maybe because we couldn't beat the Bengals and Rams?:doh:It really is a shame, isn't it? It is a shame, because it is being proven that you don't even have to be playing all that well at the end of the season to make a run in the playoffs. Anyone has a chance if they can just get it. There are no dominate teams in the NFL. As terrible as the Redskins played the 2nd half of the season, they could easily be doing what the Cardinals are doing right now. Don't forget, the Redskins are the last team to beat what is considered the hottest team in the NFL right now, the Eagles. Held them to 3 points. If you wanna put a happy smiley face on the situation, just realize that as bad as things seem the Redskins are not that far behind and can compete with anyone. If the NFC title game is the Eagles vs Cardinals, then to me that proves the Redskins are few right decisions away from being a contender.

Bubble Screen
Because Kurt Warner is a stud QB and Larry Fitzgerald is the best WR in the NFL. Man, you're right on both accounts. I'm a HUGE Warner fan. Guy is first class all the way. His life story is amazing. True rags-to-riches story. I wish the guy nothing but the best. Dude, look at it this way: The Bengals only won, what, 4 games all year? But they were 1-1-1 vs Eagles, Giants and Redskins. And the only loss, to the Giants, they took them to OT at NY. The NFL is crazy.
Bubble Screen
Because Delhomme realized he was playing in January and pulled a Tony Romo sits to pee. Actually, that would be an insult to compare him to Romo sits to pee. Even with last night's debacle, Jake is 5-3 all time in the playoffs. But yeah, he was HORRIBLE.
@DCGoldPants
That team just is in the right place at the right time. They were so bad, that they had enough top draft picks.....who now are all growing up. Sadly, they have a stronger front office than Washington. They play in the NFC West.......and they have probably the best WR in football today.
Big Blue Joe
Since the start of this millennium, only two teams in the NFC have failed to win a playoff game. Guess which ones they are. (Hint: one of them is the Lions).
pjfootballer
Since 1998 the Cardinals now have as many playoff wins as the Redskins (3). That's how far we've fallen. We used to get 3 wins in one year.
