He also said it had nothing to do with the fumble. I hadn't thought of the illegal shift, though. It seems dumb to take away our best offensive weapon like that if he's capable of playing. Zorn also made a reference to Ladell having more preparation and being more fresh. Clinton is reported to have made a comment about being benched when he was standing on the sideline. So there's some kind of slight discrepancy. Some of the media have latched onto it - one of the guys on the radio was saying "the wheels are coming off." Whatever.
