I cant see how he gets so much credit.. maybe because you know nothing about football? Rogers is not overrated in the least. People have raved about him, saying he is having a pro bowl type season for a reason. Its easy to see with zero pass rush, and primarily playing man to man coverage vs recievers like, TO, Larry Fitz, Boldin, Torry HOlt, Roy WIlliams, Calvin Johnson, Desean Jackson...etc.. essentially on an Island Carlos has played great and given up very very little. It was 3rd and 7 or something like that on a drive where the ravens were manhandling the Dline in the run game, and he anticipated an intermediate route and sat on it.. (Any pass rush whatsoever and a double move would have never developed in the first place) NOt to mention a fraction of an second later and Rogers would have made an amazing play to get back in position to break up the pass. I could waste more time on this point and call out how many great break ups he has made this year including the pass to Heap early. Of all the things to cry about on this team, Carlos Rogers is not one of them. He is a shutdown corner, haveing a breakthrough year Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

steve09ru Posted December 9, 2008 Share Posted December 9, 2008 yeah Rogers was playing really well at the beginning of the season, but like the rest of the team, it seems like his play has kind of fallen off a bit in the recent weeks.
