Gibbs was not the problem

Cerrato was NOT GM during Gibbs' tenure. This has been well documented in interviews and such. Cerrato's responsibility was to consult with the coaching staff and rank players available in the draft and free agency based on the coaching staff's recommendations, with Gibbs as team president holding the final word, and Snyder negotiating the contracts.

In Gibbs' first enure, he inherited Theismann, and Beathard got him Schroeder, Rypien and Humphries. Only Doug Williams had Gibb's fingerprints on it. After Beathard left, Casserly was essentially Gibbs lapdog, and at Gibbs' request, traded future SB QB Stan Humphries to San Diego for a 4th round pick. No question Gibbs II would've ended entirely differently had we had a GM who refused to give up so much for Brunell, and spent the money to get Brees. With the exception of Cooley, most the offensive draft picks and several of the free agents were disappointments or busts, whereas GW's picks with the huge exception of Arch, were mostly great finds.

The Whole Vinny was not the Gm was just an excuse to take the blame off of him and thats just what it is is an excuse. Vinny Cerratto was credited for bringing all the trash in here when spurrier was here. He was credited for the Champ bailey trade wich showed his sheer stupidity by throwing in a second round pick as well. He even believed that phillip daniels was a good D-end so he didnt feel the need to draft a a good D-end. \

Vinny is the reason why we suck. So is snyder its about making money not winning football games.

The man has managed to take all the credit for the average moves. And no blame for the bad moves.

ES has become a complete joke.

Some Redskins fans seriously need to switch teams.

Go be a Ravens fan.

Naah, ES isn't a joke; but maybe a little quick throwing out the NNT's flag though. :D

But seriously, you're right about some of the so-called fans needing to switch teams. Where's the loyalty? Dang...

Alot of whining over a QB that completed 67% of his passes, through for 330 yards, didnt turn the ball over, and averaged 9 yards per pass attempt, as well as winning the game with a perfect 4th quarter in a comeback.

Might want to hold the criticism for when its appropriate.

Campbell is just not accurate enough in redzone 20 and on. He has missed so many touchdowns because he has been late on reads.

The difference last year was Collins would see the read quick and just throw. That = touchdowns. Campbell reads the defense slow and has a long wind up that allows beat defenders to catch up.

Zorn is not conservative. Campbell is just not a good QB.

Just change your name and get over it. Gibbs is not here and Campbell threw good today.
