Buddha
Too bad I lack the knowledge to hack them myself. Otherwise, visitors to the site would see this smiling back at them...

fansince62
redman....got done through DNS (domain name service) poisoning: essentially modifiing records on dms servers which map the names you ordinarily enter on your browser into IP addresses. although this is pretty funny....it should give one pause to consider the vulnerabilties of the dns system (a key element of the whole infrastructure) at large
Larry
Actually, I'd heard of a similar "hack" a few months ago. (I think it was the Al Qeda site). Aparantly, somebody noticed that Al Qeda had never actually registered their DNS name, so this person simply registered it, then cut-and-pasted Al Qeda's HTML to his site, and actually hosted their domain for a few weeks before he started altering it. I put hack in quotes because this guy didn't actually penetrate any security at all: He simply did the paperwork (OK, virtual paperwork) that Al Qeda skipped.
