The End is about the Oedipus complex. Man..don't bash The Doors. :silly:

Just because they are the doors?? This is still a strange song. Isn't that what the theme of this thread is?

I grew up with the doors. Some like all groups is OK. Manzerek and Krieger were the talent. Jim was just a drugged out moron. Sorry, you are obviously a doors fan, but I guess I just don't share your interest in them.

You can put Horse Latitudes in the topic too.

He wants to kill his father, and rape his mother

So I didn't quote it exactly, not on my top listening list. Sorry if I offended you too. I know what the gist of the song is about. Next time I guess I will do a search and get the exact words, Man doors people are sensitive.

Oh man, are you off base.

Manzarek has ability, and Krieger is serviceable, but the Doors were Jim Morrison and his writing.

And his writing indicates far from a 'drugged out moron".

Fantomas: Surgical Sound Specimens from the Museum of Skin

It's the only track on the Delirium Cordia album. 74 mins and 17 seconds worth of strange and evil. The concept of the album centers on someone having surgery being performed without anesthesia.

Fantomas is cool, but I wouldn't consider this a song. Just my :2cents:.

I agree as it's not a traditional song. It could easily be the score to a horror movie. Anytime I listen to it I think of Dr. Channard in Hellraiser II:
