Actually, I just listen to music because I enjoy it. I put it on for background when I am doing other things. I also love buying a new album, popping it in my audio rig and listening to it for the first time. gortiz Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 lots of different reasons, but mostly i like to here musicians get creative and improvise on their instruments - thus i'm really into jazz, and bands that tend to play outside of the box, i.e. The Dead, Phish.
