PleaseBlitz
#28 is awfully low for Tony Mandarich, a #2 overall pick that was a complete bust.

DeMarco Murray 29
Ahh David LaFluer . 1997, the last time we went offense in the 1st round.
PleaseBlitz
Akili Smith should be much higher too. He was a #3 and the Bengals figured out he was a bust within 48 hours of drafting him.
MWCREDSKINS
Mandarich should be Top 3 considering Green Bay passed on Barry Sanders, Derrick Thomas and Deion Sanders to take him, dumb:doh:

Imagine having either one of them on the team w/ Favr-ah.
Tom [Giants fan]
This list is a bit skewed. They don't take into account supplemental draft picks which results in a forfeited draft pick. Exhibit A: Dave Brown
cphil006
Ahh David LaFluer. 1997, the last time we went offense in the 1st round. When did we draft Andre Johnson, OL, Penn State in the first round? He NEVER played a down because he wasn't good enough to dress out for a game... FIRST ROUNDER who was so bad we couldn't let him on the field!! WOW, who scouted him?? elkabong82
Couple things I noticed: 1) The Lions and Jets had a lot of players in there 2) The majority of busts were QBs and WRs 3) The mods encourage posters to point out when e thread's topic is already on the board, as it cuts down on their work. Believe me, their work load is going to be ridiculous this coming weekend. Calling out someone for doing something the mods encourage, is pretty lame, IMO. DexterSackMachine
Westbrook at 50 is absurd. There are much bigger busts than him. I think they put him in so they could run that article about him now.

HoyaSkins28
#28 is awfully low for Tony Mandarich, a #2 overall pick that was a complete bust. yeah i agree what a bust he turned out to be... the best o-line prospect ever hah!
Chump Bailey
I had to rethink Boz after watching a show about draft busts on espn and listening to Peter Kings comments. King feels Boz gets a bad rap and actually played pretty well. King thought Boz's speed was good at the time. Bo ran through his tackle attempt, but I think Bo could have run over 99.999% of the other LB's playing at the time also. Mandarich also come back and supposedly played decent enough at the guard position for Peyton and the Colts for a year or two IIRC from the show also. I would throw Mamula in that boat too - in Boz's that is... At least they had some semblance of an nfl career...
