topdog
Is Sean's name and number temporary in ring of honor or is it going to be permanent?Hope it stays he has earned that right.
CRobi21
I think it has to be permanent. I can't see them saying, alright, he's been up here long enough, lets take it down. I don't have an official word, but I'm betting it's permanent.
ncsuapex
That's too nice of a sign to be taken down. IMHO. I hope it's permanent although I can't see it from my seats
DixieFlatline
I hope it permanent too. And I hope they keep showing it on TV, because I don't have tickets.
Mackdaddydean
Well technically his name isn't in the ring of honor. He just has a memorial of his name and number, but it isnt the actual ring of honor.

The Enforcer
I would like to see the Redskins put his name in the actual Ring of Fame. The banner is nice but no one can deny that if things were different he would be a Hall of Fame safety and up in the Ring anyway so go ahead and give him his due. God Bless you Sean Taylor, we will never forget you.

God Bless you Sean Taylor, we will never forget you. I don't think he should be in the ring because he "would have been a hall of famer" cause no one really knows that. I mean "he would have been in the hall of fame" can be applied to endless possible future circumstances to multiple players. He should simply be there because he was the best player for this team right now and was senselessly murdered mid season.

Teller
I'd put Sean in the ROH, actually, leave his name with the black ribbons there permanently. But I think the number should be used again eventually. When? I'm not sure.
SK1NS4L1FE
I'm sure it will stay there permanently. No way I can see them taking it down. It is a great tribute to ST.
jobedoza
I'm hoping it would stay. His passing was a huge moment in Redskins history, and it will forever remind Redskins fans what the team went through and overcame in 2007. It can also tell that story to many fans in the future who are much too young in 2007 to actually remember that tragedy. It's not really gonna be a ring of honor "plaque", but more of a memorial. Suicide Mission 30
They took down advertising space to put up the ST banner. I hope that it stays forever, but I doubt it...
SBXVII
Not only should he be in the ring of honor but #21 should be retired IMO.
DeanCollins
They took down advertising space to put up the ST banner. I hope that it stays forever, but I doubt it... exactly. The present sign for Sean is much larger then the names in the ROH and looks my distingushed IMO. I hope it stays there. If Snyder takes it down and puts an advertisment back up, I think he'll endure a ton of scrutiny. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. What did Arizona do Tillman? skinsfan44
I heard that the Sean Taylor memorial banner that is up at FedEx Field will be permanent. This is NOT from an official source, but from someone connected to the Redskins.
pjfootballer
sorry. I loved Sean, but that is for players who have had great careers here. This year, was his best year, The other years were average.
