GrimReaper21
No, its bs, because Rahman quit like the dog that he is. Also, ACW, I personally wouldn't waste my money on that crap fighter Jimmy Lange. Those tickets are outrageously priced also. Instead, make the trek up to either AC for the Pavlik Hopkins fight or to NYC for the Calzaghe Jones fight. I am covering the Friday Night Fights Card at Ibiza so we'll meet up if you're attending.

StillUnknown
the cut was caused by a headbutt, overturning the decision was right decision. that being said, i truly hope neither of them ever boxes again to be honest.

As for AN or NYC, I'd rather spend the $30 and see it here, but whatever.BTW, I'll ask again, if a fighter usually vacates the title (Ring) when moving up in weight class, how then again is Pacman rated in 2 classes? GrimReaper21
bc he didnt vacate it yet, bc he doesnt know who is fighting next, he will make a decision soon i'm sure...

Gator Bait
Has anyone noticed that Margaritto and Pacman are both schedule to fight unkown opponents on Nov.15th. In addition to that....Lacy and Taylor will be fighting in a middle weight eliminator bout that night! There is no way these guys are all fighting on the same card....right? I'm thinking either and Pacman will have a coe-feature on hbo pay-per-view and the Lacy-Taylor Fight will be on showtime.
ACW
Hmm, maybe Nov. 15 will be Margarito vs. Punisher? Anyway, http://boxingalongthebeltway.blogspot.com/2008/07/nwodo-aiken-on-espn2-august-29-card-in.html Both Nwodo and Aiken on Friday Night Fights
Forehead
Also, ACW, I personally wouldn't waste my money on that crap fighter Jimmy Lange. Oh come on, Jimmy isn't that bad. The cards at the Patriot Center are usually pretty entertaining. Sure, he's not exciting, jabs a ton, not much power, but he's 28-3-2 or something like that, so he can't be that bad. Live boxing is fun, and the tickets aren't that expensive. Just buy a cheap ticket, and move closer later on in the card.

I want to see Margarito-Cotto 2! I'd like to see Paul Williams move up to 154 and whip Sergio Morra's ass!!!! I can't stand that guy!

I can't stand that guy! if Paul moves up, it will probably be to 160. there aren't any names at 154 to get a big money fight Forrest had a rematch clause, so he's fighting Mora sometime in October or November i believe. i don't like him either. ACW
If Punisher moves up, him vs. Pavlik would be interesting...Paul would have to use his longer reach. BTW, SU, cool sig. Ong-Bak is an awesome movie.
GrimReaper21
Forrest and Mora are fighting on Sept. 13 on the undercard of Casamayor-Marquez. Lange is not a good fighter at all, he could be 50-0, records don't mean anything, if you beat 50 scrubs...

smashmowf
Also, they'll probably show the replay of the Cotto/Margarito fight. Which makes it one of the best OVERALL HBO cards in a while....
ACW
Hopefully Peterson's fight will be televised after the Cotto-Margarito replay instead of going straight to the Judah-Clottey fight.
StillUnknown
HBO's got a 3hour block of coverage, i would think they would be able to show the Margarito/Cotto fight, along with the Peterson fight before the Judah/Clottey fight

BTW, I am going to the FNF card in two weeks EDIT: BTW, at least 4 (4 and a half?), and maybe up to 7 Beltway boxers will be on national TV this month. DEFINITE: -Paschall (tomorrow on SHO) -Gary Russell Jr. (Olympics on CNBC) -Ishmael Arvin (Aug. 15 on ESPN2) -Emmanuel Nwodo (Aug. 29 on ESPN2) MAYBE: -Peterson (tomorrow on HBO) -Seth Mitchell and Alexander Johnson (both the 15th on ESPN2)
ACW
So you guys would recommend seeing the replay of Cotto-Margarito tonight, even though I know Margarito wins?
StillUnknown
it was a great fight, possibly fight of the year. definitely worth watching even if you know the outcome, as long as you can stand to listen to Jim Lampley's biased commentating
ACW
Paschall's still in it (watching it using picture-in-picture; Monk's speech is main). Quite flamboyant ring attire by Paschall  EDIT: Wow, Paschall got DRILLED with a punch which opened him up big time; fight had to be stopped. Paschall still wanted to continue though.
