CandaceM23
Jessee jackson asked everyone to get up and clap their hands for ST and to show their love. Now he's preaching about gun laws ... guns being easily accessable to the kids who killed ST. We need soldiers to put out the fire that engulfed Sean, we need a gameplan ..... ST was a safety ...if we learn from his death then we've saved many a touchdown. To put an end to this fire .. We are all the safety now, nfl you must play safety now and stand infront of the violence.

SlinginSammy HOF '63
Jesse Jackson is speaking, mostly about how guns are bad. "Sean's killers neither made nor manufactured guns, but guns were easily accessible to them." yup and even if they were illegal they'd still be easily accessable except the people selling them would make more money. I'm embarassed to watch this
askounes
Jesse Jackson is speaking, mostly about how guns are bad. "Sean's killers neither made nor manufactured guns, but guns were easily accessible to them." It is unfortunate that Jesse is predictably politicizing Sean Taylor's funeral. But with that said, if the Taylor family wished for Jackson to speak, then I certainly respect their decision. I'll just take a break from watching. DGreenistheBest
Goodell was short and to the point. Jesse could have given this eulogy at any of the hundreds of funerals for gun victims today.

CandaceM23
Tributes from Washington Redskins .... Joe Gibbs is up to speak. ST was out first draft choice, says God must have looked down and said he made a grrat football player. Joe saw a maturing process ...the way he appreciates people and his life began to change, the way he related to people around the park. Belives god was working in his life. 2nd thing Gibbs looks back on is that chaplan spent time with ST and pastor brett ST revealed that he had a personal relationship with the Lord. cjrugger
One of the first times I agreed with Jesse Jackson. The Iraq thing was a bit far but I agree with his point that we need to use this as a learning experience and an example for others. Thought it was well said
