With the (blank) pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select...

Malcolm Kelly/Desean Jackson

I like Kelly's height, we need a big playmaking receiver. The 2007 smurfs are not getting it done. Desean lacks height, but is a top tier wideout.

After this loss today, I think it's pretty much safe to say we can look towards the offseason. This team is not ready just yet.

Am I the only person that think we should trade Moss for a 5th or 6th rounder?

Hell, is he even worth that?

If we are talking bout trading people for picks... i gotta say... betts looked good and portis has had the #s this season to be worth sumthin..... i m no McD5... but i m startin to see where he is comin from...

but i wanna see and OT or maybe a corner in the 1st round...

Betts sucks. Whenever Betts touches the ball, I worry that he will fumble. That is how bad he is. He fumbles 1 in every 38 touches. Thats almost a fumble a game.

Neither our going anywhere though. Portis is a better back, all around. He blocks better, runs better, and he is a better leader.

Only thing betts s better at is being a pass catcher. But, he sucks at blocking. Betts alone cost us 2 games last year.

c campbell de-miami, k rivers lb-usc,or a cason cb-arizona

(any one of these defenders would make an impact and strengthen a strength-D)

unless

pat white declares- (would eventually, finally fill this franchises #1 reciever spot) (i dont think m kelly of d jackson would)

2008 WR Free Agents, there isn't a solid wideout on here. We have to go WR during the draft. Unfortunately, this isn't best class for WR's.

Running backs are dime a dozen, therefore I wouldn't draft one unless it was bush in the first round. The Skins need help on the o line and d line. that can be addressed in the later rounds also. I wouldn't risk a 1st round pick on a WR either. Look at Calvin Johnson over in Detroit... Come to think of it I don't know too many WR's drafted in the first round recently that have panned out. Someone fill me in if there was.

Yes, no, I dont know, can you repeat the question?

Desean Jackson is not the guy we need. Great player, but the Skins need a big play possession receiver who isn't afraid of the middle of the field and who can go up for the jump ball. Desean Jackson is a Devin Hester type and we don't need another of those on the roster.
