Dan, let this thread serve as proof positive that we want our bleachers back.

The way the stands would bounce up at down at RFK was probably the coolest thing about being in the stands at a Skins game.

Dan, I know you want top of the line everything, but us Skins fans want our BLEACHERS and our BOUNCE!

Oh boy -Where to start....

At RFK, there were Bleachers - But those were NOT what rocked! The stadium lower bowl rocked! It was a accident, it was the settling of the stadium.

Example -RFK for National games have no bleachers, but in 2005, the bottom stands down the 1st base line would routinly bounce.

The bleachers themselves (Which were locaed in the ends zone, and as some add on seats in places, did not bounce.

In addition - It was not like every game they rocked. The "We Want Dallas" Chant was when it happened (The Viking's vs Redskins Playoff Game in 82. The week BEFORE we actually played Dallas). If anyone knows of a time before that the stadium rocked, let me know.

What a new stadium needs.......

1. Design by somebody who has a clue about acoustics and how to funnel sound. I want my stadium to sound like 90,000 people are actually there!!!!!

2. Less commercial.....More Redskins. A stadium in B&G and not FedEx colors would be kind of nice

3. Less White Collar.....More Blue Collar: More general admission seating for Redskins fans, less corporate seating; less selling to fans who come for the humidor and restaurants, more selling to people who actually want to watch the Redskins play.

4. Real Jumbotrons with more Instant replays- no more light brights please :)

just a few suggestions

This is one of the most inappropriate things ive ever heard

That being said, I support it 100%

i didn't mean it in an inappropriate way (although i guess it may have sounded that way); however, there's a dog pound, a black hole, a pirate ship...why can't we have a reservation. there must be a tastefull way to do it. i'm not recommending that we put a casino in "The Reservation," but i just meant it as a section with no seats so that the fans can pack in and really get noisy and be on the field.

Bleachers are for high-schools. I like what some people have already said and I'll add to it. We definitely need better acoustics and real Jumbotrons.

I agree with the standing area only, they could be cheaper Gen. Ad. tickets.

Do away with Club level, all fans should be able to access all of the stadium features.

Keep the humidors and resturants, some people prefer to watch the games from there, that's another cheaper ticket option. Then people who like to stay in the seats all game can do so, keeping the home team presence.

It's impossible to call a section in a Redskins stadium "The Reservation" and not be totally offensive.

Wow.. all.... this is going beyond colorless humor... it is actually bordering on hate speech.

Very inappropriate and yall know it.

Nothing in this thread borders on hate speech, and only a person of zero ethnic understanding or zero intelligence would claim it does so.

My previous post about the reservation in the bathroom was clear satire on the raw deal that Native Americans got during the Manifest Destiny movement.

When people proclaim free speech to be hate speech, the Constitution faces its gravest danger.

i was not going down that route. if the word 'reservation" is a word that invokes "hate speech," then i'm pleading ignorance on that. sure i understand that the government's actions of forcing native americans onto reservations was a messed up concept, but i didn't realize that the word itself is hate filled.

i mean, we are the washington redskins and it seems to me that encorporating some native american aspects would actually be more embracing than hate filled

I roof that's specifically designed to bounce soundwaves in the human voice frequency range from the stands to midfield as efficiently as possible, while simultaneously providing cover to the poor souls in the upper deck.

See: Philly's new baseball stadium. The upper deck has a high aluminum roof that provides sun/rain cover and bounces LOTS of sound back into the stadium.

It doesn't have to be aluminum. But it does have to be sound-bouncy.
