Larry
Dillweed has another (IMO) insightfull (but short) post up, here. Redskins D vs Eagles OffenseThe Eagles led the league last year in play action passes. Also, in formations with only 1 WR, Philly threw the ball 48 percent of the time, which was more than any other team in the league (Pro Football Prospectus.) I’d hold my breath on any play action passes where Landry is in the box, because that could mean Rogers is one-on-one with burners Kevin Curtis or Reggie Brown. Loxley
I like his style. An informative read from a very knowledgeable fan. He is not afraid to admit he is a fan whilst remaining (relatively) impartial and honest in his evaluations.

chrisc0015
Read it again, he mentions that if Laron Landry is in the box (meaning only 1 safety is deep) then ST can only double team a single receiver... which means Rogers may be 1v1. DGreenistheBest
Yeah but ST can be in two places at once, so...argument over.
Peregrine
This will definately be a test of our passing defense, and how well we handle the blitz. If we can keep McNabb in check, and keep Campbell safe, we should have a great game.

mistertim
Yeah but ST can be in two places at once, so...argument over. Yeah I think with ST's ball recognition skills and speed he could get to wherever he needed to be on a deep or intermediate route to a (apparently) 1v1 matchup. Agreed; but you both are making an assumption that McNabb will get a ball "off" Donovan "WELCOME"~ let me introduce you to our DEEP receivers.............. :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck :eaglesuck
Mercuryrising
he forgets that we have ST over the top That is why you put a WR on each side. Then you have Mcnabb look ST off, and then throw the ball to the other side where you have one on one coverage, or not.
