kevinklein
I was watching the @Cowboys game last year at my ex-girlfriends place. Her roommates thought I was a closet freak by the end of the game. :whoknows:

TCO
Well, she's a big Skins fan too, but she's much more... calm then I am. She likes to tell her friends and family that I'm "THAT guy" at the games and at home. I yell, I throw, I stomp my feet, all of it when it's just me. I need to get her all drunk and beligerent I think, Halftime BJ's? Lucky guys.

Forehead
:notworthy LOL. That hillarious. I had a girlfriend that would give me half time BJs once in a while. god I hate her. The BJs were good though. :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: Maybe the best three lines I've seen on this site. My wife does not like football, though she did mention she might like to go to one game this year. I immediately made sure that I had my extra season ticket covered for all eight games. Why would I bring her? All she knows is that Dallas is bad, but has no love for the Skins. Give me one of my drunk friends yelling with me any day. The only (wife related) positive out of getting season tickets this year is that there's no longer a fight over what will be on TV on Sundays. I don't have any halftime distraction stories, but I have one funny one I can relay, mildly censored. Back in college, I was seeing this girl (not the wife), and neither of us were emotionally invested in the relationship, it was a casual sex setup. What she doesn't know is that after the Sunday night game on ESPN, Sportscenter came on, and I would purposely put her in a specific position so that she could not see my face. Thus, she did not realize that I was watching Skins highlights on T.V. rather than paying full attention to the business at hand. Ah, college memories. illone
Ever since i met my gf over 7 years ago (now wife of 1 year) , she has come to almost every game with me, minus the really cold games, shes a wuss :laugh:But she knows on game days, im on edge and anything will set my temper off, whats cool is at our house during away games, if im REALLY on edge, i get surprise BJ's and half time once in a while to calm me down, god i love her No wonder you married her. My wife does pretty well on gameday, too. Usually she tries to get me to spend 'time' with her before kickoff, but if I turn on the pre-game show, then she tries to distract me with BJs and other 'stuff'. For the most part, my wife is now a converted Skins fan. She even wants to name our future dog "Portis" since she's a BIG cp fan.

nebster21
She already knows how crazy I am when im in front of my TV or at my local bar.... My wife knows that about me as well. You should take her to a strip club and see what happens.... I was ROTFLMAO Yeah, my wife knows that about me as well. She won't invite anyone over when a Redskins game is on because, a. She knows that would piss me off, and b. She would be too embarassed if anyone outside of the family witnessed me like that. My wife does not want me to watch the game at he side of the families house ever. She does not even schedule a visit to her side of the families house on a sunday during the season unless it is the bye week. She likes to tell her friends and family that I'm "THAT guy" at the games and at home. I yell, I throw, I stomp my feet, all of it when it's just me. Unfortunately mine is not a football fan but my wife tells all her friends this about me. I don't have any halftime distraction stories, but I have one funny one I can relay, mildly censored. My wife will arange herself on the back of the couch because she knows that if she does not let me watch highlights or the game she is not getting any. Jess_in_beachtown_nc
Please. I have boys that are afraid of going to games with ME. Once I tell them how I got escorted out of the bar bc I had started throwing peanuts at some Eagles fans and had to have my bengals friends hold me back they start making excuses. Damn it's hard to find a good man in the south. I have a newly aquired boyfriend and he's a Giant's fan.... but I have him coming to the game sunday at the bar wearing a "free sean taylor" shirt and i'm only getting that bc he's not in his hometown and they play sunday night..... mtyquinn
I take my family to a preseason game each year and this year I am taking my wife to a regular season game for the 1st time. 9/23 Skins - Giants. I hope this is a good decision. She is originally from north Jersey but I've converted her to a Skins fan.
jweisk1
Have you ever been so off the charts at the game that he/she didn't want to acknowledge they knew you, much less acknowledge they were headed home with you after the game??That's my plan for my girlfriend Sunday That is why I broke up with one of my ex's, calling me immature...crazy girls...it helps if your girl is a skins/football/beer fan..just my thoughts
skinsaddict
My wife doesn't understand football BUT she went to her first game last preseason (Jets) and had a good time. She is going to the Giants game in a few weeks. I'm hoping we win that one so she gets the best experience.

Joe Sick
A word to the wise... You take her once and even if she only acts like she likes it, you are beholden to taking her again. Just saying... I've tried to not encourage my wife into either golf or Redskins games. I'd rather spend it with my old friends. That's man time. I only get to go to 1, maybe 2, games a year. If I had season tickets, that might be another story. That said, we've been to two Skins games and about 10 Hokie games together and always had a great time.
