I thought jerseys were dumb then too actually. This is just one marketing thing I never fully understood. They aren't stylish. They aren't comfortable. They are expensive as all get out. When I go to games with a Monk jersey on I always get comments like "Awsome, Monk", "what a great player", "very nice jersey" etc... - I even hear this from the fans of other teams.
