coldpacker
http://www.hsus.org/legislation_laws/citizen_lobbyist_center/internet_hunting_state_laws.html Honestly, has anyone tried this? I've always been intrigued about this idea and almost tempted to try it. I've never hunted before but the fact that you can do it remotely makes it very interesting
twa
Never tried it,never will. There are video games available that mimic hunting realistically that I have used and make much more sense, both morally and ecologically. Internet hunting ain't hunting :2cents:

Destino
Absolutely ****ing disgusting and I hold that same opinion of anyone that engages in it or supports it. Sick twisted **** like this should be outlawed. Hope that's clear enough. I'm not entirely against hunting. There is a primal urge to hunt in human beings, it's what we are when you strip away modern society. Inflicting pain just for the hell of it remotely just to cure your boredom? disgusting. SkinsBry
I don't get it. I could maybe, possibly understand it if this was set up for people who are totally paralyzed and want to fill their hunting urge. But for someone that just doesn't want to sit in a tree stand or deer blind and would rather shoot something on the internets is stupid.

Believe it or not there are even better ways for those people to continue or begin an interest in hunting than this sort of ****. I won't say it's easy or simple, but there are systems for target firearms to be shot by people with limited mobility. I have heard that at least one of those systems has been looked at (not sure it's ever been used) for conversion to hunting-type rifles.
Buddy Dude
That's just ****ing sick. I have nothing against hunting at all, although I've never been, but this is wrong. To actually lure the animal with feeding, just to blow it's brains out, is sadistic, it doesn't involve any actual skill.
AsburySkinsFan
I love hunting, but let me tell you this practice is just lame, and I'm glad states are writing legislation against it. Anyone who does it is not a hunter nor a sportsman, and let me tell you if I ever see a set up like this while hunting; the internet hunter is going to be awfully surprised when he goes to fire and nothing happens. Shameful practice, just shameful.
Idaho fan
How stupid! How lazy are people becoming? What will they think of next? How long before they sell pre chewed food? Hunting by computer - oooh how exciting that must be for these "hunters". I have hunted since I was a little kid - this is not hunting.
McMetal
Great. And how does this provide the invaluable quality time between a son and his father? Hunting was never about killing things for me growing up. It was about spending time with my Dad out in nature and learning things I would never be exposed to otherwise in the city. You can't get that from a video game.

You can't get that from a video game. Well, they could look at porn together and shoot stuff at the same time. :jk: I was the same way. I cherished the time alone with my dad. I've taken the past few years off mainly because of Pennsylvania's law changes but during that time off, I've lost the desire to kill animals. However, I have missed the time with my dad, plus he's getting older and I'd rather be in the woods within radio range just in case. So I'm going to start going again. Predicto
I don't get the appeal of hunting. Never have. I "get" this even less. It seems disgusting to me.

I enjoy learning the skills and getting out in nature stalking game, but killing them for entertainment is not part of the package for me. Now killing varmints and pigeons I find quite pleasurable
portisizzle
I don't get the appeal of hunting. Never have.I "get" this even less. It seems disgusting to me. It is not about appeal. It is about filling your gut. You are only 120-150 years removed from understanding exactly why humans hunt.
