Coach Joe already coaching scared?

A lot of people on this board are very competitive and hate to lose in any event.

Scrimmages and preseason games mean a lot to some fans and players.

Who cares if Preseason is not counted as season stats. Some fans want to see results and want there team to win at all cost. There is really no need to be optimistic about pessimistic results/ outlook.

I don't know anybody in there right mind who think losing is OK no matter what activity.

Eight months with no football, with only fluff pieces about Campbell's growth to hold us over and when we finally get a chance to see our starting quarterback in some semblance of live football we are treated to the Mark and Todd show?!?! Where the hell was Jason Campbell during the 11v11 drills? QB was untouchable so where was he? Is Coach Joe that scared of injury that he won't put our starting QB on the field for a single down? What other reason is there? We need to see how this guy is progressing against a full squad defense? Yes or no? He's an unproven second year starter right? Give us one series for *****'* sake. It all depends on him because guess what, Brunell and Collins don't ****, they hella ****. But we already knew that so why prove it for the umpteenth time? What was the downside of letting Campbell have a couple of plays? There certainly was no upside.

Ofcourse I'm panicking because deep down I know that Coach Joe wants to go with Brunell this year and will not hesitate to pull a "Ramsey" and bench Campbell at the first sign of trouble. Why else would he have Brunell out there? It's Campbell's team now, he needs the most experience possible and he doesn't get a single snap? WTF? What is Brunell going to show you? That he can still hit the juice box guy square in the face, ten yards out of bounds on an out pattern? that he can overthrow every slant, underthrow every hitch? and lob every screen? He's ******* old and he *****! Loyalty has a limit so cut him now. At least then we'll know that whatever they do with Campbell in the preseason there is a 0% chance of him not being our starter this year.

By the way, Coach Gregg, the defense looked like ****.

GO SCOTT!!!! Super Smart Baby!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO :D

WAAAAYYYY too early for this. It wasn't even a real game. It was a scrimmage. Let's not bash Gibbs yet. If we decide to go "vanilla" again in the preseason games, get humiliated 41-0, go 0-4 in the preseason and start out the season struggling and one reason is because our team was too busy being "vanilla", then start the Gibbs/coaches bashing.

its still early, but i want to see improvement. we don't have to break out all the fancy plays or even the starters. i want to see some oomph out there.

here's some quotes from last year. preseason means something to somebody.

"We are going through a real tough time," Redskins coach Joe Gibbs said. "I think when you go through tests like this, you find out what you are made of."

:(

"They got a little bit of the blitz, particularly at the end," Brunell said of the Patriots defense, "but for the most part, it wasn't overly complicated."

:(

"Certainly that's not the way we wanted to play," Gibbs said.

:(

"Everything points toward Monday night," Gibbs said. "We've got to find a way to play well."

:(

I'm concerned all the way across the board," Gibbs said in a postgame news conference that lasted less than three minutes. "I think it's not playing, and me not coaching. When we show up and do stuff like that at home, I take it real serious. I think our players do, too. We're going to do something about it. It's hard for me to find something where I thought we played well."

:( :(
