Campbell to Headline Premiere of Comcast SportsNet's LIVE Daily Sports Talk Show

Jason Campbell is scheduled to appear as a special guest on the premiere of Comcast SportsNet's live sports talk show on Monday, March 19.

The high-energy, interactive sports roundtable, which will air daily from 5-6:30 p.m. ET, covers the stories, trends and topics on the minds of sports fans throughout the region.

The live show will feature Comcast SportsNet personalities along with other special guests from media, sports, entertainment and politics.

CSN Announces Lineup For Washington Post Live Debut

Bethesda, MD - Comcast SportsNet, the leader in local sports television in the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore region, will kick off its new daily sports talk show, Washington Post Live, with the future of this region’s professional sports teams. Washington Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell, Washington Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman, and Capitals winger and 2006 NHL Rookie of the Year, Alexander Ovechkin, will join host Russ Thaler for the debut of Comcast SportsNet’s new daily talk show.

Comcast SportsNet will launch Washington Post Live tonight at 5:00 p.m., and re-air tonight at 7:00 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.. The high-energy, interactive sports roundtable will cover the stories, trends and topics on the minds of sports fans throughout the region. The live show will feature Comcast SportsNet personalities and writers from The Washington Post sports section along with other special guests from media, sports, entertainment and politics. Washington Post Live will air Monday-Friday from 5:00-6:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet, and simultaneously on www.washingtonpost.com .

Along with bringing together Washington, D.C.’s top professional athletes, Comcast SportsNet’s Washington Post Live debut will feature college basketball analysts breaking down NCAA Tournament brackets, satellite reports from spring training and special appearances by the Washington Nationals’ Racing Presidents and other surprise guests.

During the first week of Washington Post Live, Comcast SportsNet will also introduce viewers to the show’s special features: “Live at 45,” giving viewers the opportunity to vote on show topics; “The Blog Show,” highlighting the nation’s top sports bloggers such as The Washington Post’s Dan Steinberg and AOL’s Jamie Mottram; “On Call,” featuring a sports psychologist, sports physician, or lawyer that can be called at any time for an expert opinion, and more.

Washington Post Live also welcomes NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, D.C. United and U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Ben Olsen, former U.S. Congressman and University of Maryland basketball player Tom McMillen, political commentator and University of Maryland fan Bob Novak, NBA player agent Keith Glass, NCAA basketball analyst Glenn Consor and Vince Papale, the inspiration for the movie Invincible, during the show’s first week.

This show is awful. I can't believe I'm sitting through these schmucks.

That was my first impression as well.These guys they have on here have no personality whatsoever,and Campbell isnt the liveliest of guys either to say the least.If this is what they plan on doing for an hour and a half every day this will be a very short lived show.

there isn't that much to talk about for 1 hour and half from M-F. PTI is a much better show to watch during this timeslot and sportscenter
