TorresA
We need someone willing to throw the ball down the field. I think Al is calling the plays to go down field, but Mark is not pulling the trigger.
JetSkins
are these players on offense just not right for saunders system?
-mando-
brunell needs to get benched, either for good or to get him motivated to actually do something
70Chip
Ouch. I'm going to lay low until the knives get put away.
NYCskins
Vanilla baby. I expected the offense to struggle, learning a new system and all, but with this performance, I can't see us being at all competitive this year. D played better than last game. Frost gets game ball. I think we need to see Jason in sooner rather than later.
The Dude
I saw some definite improvement tonight. I feel encouraged looking at the upcoming games.

blackbodyg
Let call it time for for a rebuild year, because I don't believe the we know what we are doing. Offense ONLY scored 3 points, where is Al Saunders offensive calls? What about the tacklling, this was terrible tackling by most of the team
H-O-G
Brunell, go ahead and stay in Dallas. Welcome to Washington Jason Campbell.

PCRoughrider
This team is fundamentally flawed in every aspect. There is nothing good about it.
Seabee1973
Brunells 2 longest passes came on the final drive i think we could have done that sooner we might have had a differnt outlook
AsburySkinsFan
Honest question: How many more loses is Brunell allowed? My guess is 1, I know Portis is out, but the QB has to be able to use the tools available. The Defense needs some serious help too, because even with Portis in there this game would have been very close.
Stratosphere
it's gonna be another loooooong and stressful season. It's time to ring in hte era of Campbell, we don't have anything ot lose at this point.

NOVA2Tampa
Folks, we may just have to face the ugly truth...the 2006 Redskins are not as good as we thought they would be...we really need to get our ship together...
mistahsmif
18/33 197 yards 0 TD 1 Int 5 sacks Unacceptable At least we took out T.O
CEJ2200
We need a QB with a stonger arm, and who can scramble a bit more (i.e. Jason C.). I can't wait to get them at Fed-ex in Nov. I hope we bury them...
dinamo
My emotions are running high, but: Brunell sucks sooooo much! He is so afraid to throw ball downfiled. Every time he threw in this game in the middle it was too low. Before the season started I said here we would go 11-5. Now it does not feels like we are plyoff team. ANybody feels the same way? T.O. got 19 yards !!! Wow! But our offense totally was inept. I new almost every play we were going to run. Just unbelievable! We suck!!!
zoony
Mark, I appreciate all you've done for the Redskins' since you've arrived in DC. I'll always be a Mark Brunell fan. But time for you to step down. Do the right thing. Gibbs is too classy to bench you. .....
JMac
Brunell needs to be taken out to the pasture out there in Dallas country. He looked every bit his age.
EnFoRcEr_uPu
Basically Brunell played horrible. There is NO excuse for playing that bad. And even with a new scheme, with the list of receivers/TE we have out there, SOMEONE has to be open sometime. This is pathetic. Portis and ESPECIALLY Springs not being in made a HUGE difference, but it wouldn't have mattered with the play of Brunell.
