bulldog Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 yeah, Craig, but some of these clubs have something to prove in the preseason. the Bengals got a bad taste in their mouthes because they won the division last year but suffered the horrible injury to Palmer that probably let the Steelers get out of there with a victory. they are primed to make up for that finish. the Ravens likewise have things to prove. they were 6-10 last year and have taken all kinds of media and fan abuse in the offseason prior to the trade for Steve McNair. Their coach is on the hot seat now with a veteran qb in camp. It is on HIM to make it work. the Redskins are not in a position where they have to overcome the bad taste of a poor 2005. at the same time they didn't suffer any catastrophic injuries that prevented the team from showing itself in the postseason.
