slackermike
We started watching it here. I'm pulling for Sarah(?)... the girl that burned her hand and was still giving out orders. Seems like she is the only one on there that knows what the hell she is doing. As a side note, I can't believe the men lost the 10oz steak challenge.... not saying women shouldn't have won it, but I guess I just thought that would be the one challenge they would be good at -- how many men cook steaks? It was Larry's fault. I think the name your looking for is Heather...She got burnt
DB44
I believe the contestants last year had much better skill than the ones this year... I see no standout chefs other than heather worth a damn...My feeling exactly. I watched the last 4-5 episodes (thanks to my wife) last year and it intrigued me. Its more than just being a good cook. This years crew can't seem to even cook. The gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) part of the show is when they start whinning about each other back in the house? What is this show, Big Brother? Ramsey did say all he asks for is perfection, and some of what he does is over the top, but these rookie chefs seem to need some boot camp. Good show though. riggins44
I'd say Heather and Larry are the early favorites with Rachael being close behind. I was really surprised when Larry didn't get a single 10 oz steak right. Being a fishmonger I thought he would've been the best.

SonnyRules
Tivo-ed the show and watched it last night. The cast of this season couldn't hold a candle to the group last year. I'll be amazed if they get one complete service out. Heather is the only one that we see a chance of winning. The Red Rock is pretty impressive. Warhead36
I love this show. Don't know why, I hate all other reality/contest type shows but this one just got me. Yeah, this year's chefs seem weaker than last years, but then again we probably don't remember just how BAD last years chefs were at the start. Virginia is hot too by the way. Xameil
Last year was awesome. I wonder how the winner is doing working over in England, or if he's even still working there.
spanishomelette
Isn't that Larry guy out? Isn't he the one that went to the hospital and had to bow out? Definitely out...A favorite? He couldn't cut a steak and or even handle 2 days work before his body gave out.
drums and skins
For those wondering, Michael Wray, the winner of last year's Hell's Kitchen is back in the states. Selling chef knives. No, seriously. He does have plans to open a restaurant in Las Vegas, though. http://realitytv.about.com/b/a/190588.htm * Winner Michael Wray went to the UK to learn under Ramsay, and is now back in Los Angeles. While he hopes to eventually open a restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada at either the The Palms or the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, it is more work than he expected. In the meantime, he has started a custom chefs knives company. He claims that he received "a chunk of cash and US$75,000 in restaurant equipment" for winning. * Runner-up Ralph opened his own restaurant in Sag Harbor, New York, called Fat Ralph's Deli. from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell%27s_Kitchen_%28TV_series%

Kosher Ham
The guy last year CHOSE not to have his own place. Many of you have never been in the kitchen of a 5 star restaurant apparently. Most top chefs in the world are exactly like Ramsey. Including Emeril and many others. Watching this show takes me back to when I worked for a top chef and how he was to deal with. Overall great guy though.
Burgold
K-Greasy bootedHeather beats Virginia ...finally Would you really want to eat and pay to go to a four star dining establishment by a chef who names himself "greasy?"
halter91
I watched all season, this is the only reality show I watch. Virginia was a hottie, till I found out she was married to some putz. I was rooting for Sarah to lose, she was such a back stabbing *****. Great Show!!

Yea I mised the last week or two and was suprised to see Keith out of the final 2. I thought he had the best cooking out of everyone on that show. Oh well, it was a good show and actually kind of nice to see Ramsay not be such a dick in the last episode.
Warhead36
Well after K-Grease got screwed it was obvious Heather would win. I love how Keith hustled $1000 out of Virginia in case she won.

It is a good show but honestly if you like Ramsay you'd like Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on the BBC network. Its an hour a week and the 6 or so season episodes are over but are replied a lot in marathon format...tivo it...it is classic and he curses unbleeped except for the F Bomb...note to Brits.....Dental Care.

I noticed some of them decided not to come back i.e. Mirabel. The other thing that is odd about this show is how these folks who can't seem to operate a stove can somehow become good just by being yelled at during 4 or 5 dinner services. They must get some instruction that is left out of the show?

Pete
For once, I didn't miss a show, and thought it was a pretty good season. While I couldn't stand Heather, she looked to be a head above the rest from the start. We'll see what next season brings............

tizzod
I NEVER watch reality shows. I hate them on principle. But this one sucked me in. Even after I watched the first one and was put off about how much of a dick Ramsay was. I was fascinated for some reason! I had Heather pegged as the winner from Week 3, but it wasn't like that was hard or anything. That Keith dude could cook, but he was way too interested in the whole wigger thing (sorry to use that term, but if the shoe fits, you know?), and he got a little too big for his baggy-ass britches, I think. Just couldn't see him running a multi-million dollar restaurant. He wasn't ready. I just didn't see who could beat out Heather. I'm glad she won. She really stepped it up with that last service. Very well done. It will be interesting to see how the restaurant does! I'll try to keep tabs on it. Anyway, I'm shocked it got me, but it did. Dammit! All I ever do is b!tch about our stupid culture, and then I fell victim to it!
