The second pick in the draft could fill one of these. The other picks we have in the draft are a crapshoot. So in my estimation we need at least two more free agent signings! So we gave him a ton of money because of his return abilities and trick TD passes? I'd rather have a WR that can formost catch the ball. All the other stuff is icing on the cake. redmo002 Posted March 13, 2006 Share Posted March 13, 2006 Still need a QB too! We have one waiting in the wings in Campbell. Why else would we have used our 1st round pick from this year to get him. We'll address CB in the 2nd round of the draft and get depth in the later rounds and FA. We'll be set... Our main thing this offseason was to upgrade our offense from what it was last year, especially in the playoffs. We are doing that by getting WR's and a new TE. Now we'll hit on the defense to retool the already "nasty" defense. I mean, the defense won that playoff game at TB for us. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Springs is aging and Rogers is fine but after that we are looking at Jimoh and some practice squad prospects. IMO we have to go after a Woodson, Law, Williams etc. Williams carried the Vikings secondary last year and may come cheaper than the other two. Suprised we have not targeted a CB so far.
