laura
I read somehwere that in the last five games the Redskins have forced 17 t:applause: urnovers and have 17 sacks. Is that true?
canesluver
The ball is finally bouncing in our direction. I thought I heard we ended the season with a +1 turnover margin. That's impressive considering our pathetic first 10 games or so.
Riggo-toni
Not sure about the turnovers, but the sacks figure sounds about right. Daniels alone has had 6 in the last 3 games, so that sounds about right
slinky
sounds about right... not sure... I hope we get some Bobby Boucher stats this week against the *uckaneers...
moondog
http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=14455 it is most definately true...our defense has turned it up big time for this run we've been on lately and the +1 turnover ratio is very impressive because we were -12 at one point if my mind serves me correctly

Darth Tater
Although we lost the game, the sacks and turnover flood started with the return of Griffen in the SD game which when included gives us 20/20 numbers. In the first 10 games, we had 15 sacks and about 18 takeaways. Over the 3 Griff missed plus the one he missed most, we only had about 4 takeaways and 5 sacks. So, in Griffin's 12 complete games, we forced 34 takeaways and 30 sacks. With Griff in the game, we take the ball away and put greater pressure on the QB. Ant15fromNJ
Great to hear because in the beginning of the season we were not getting the turnovers we needed.

Darth Tater
Another thing, our defense played only 1 really bad game last year. Guess who was out that game?
