Welcome back Kato....

Thats a smart move. For a while I was getting worried about our special teams, which were taking hits. Kato also has some potential as a young cornerback. He has started a few games in the past and has 3 INT's to his credit. So he is capable of making some good plays.

Glad to see that Kato re-upped with the Burgundy and Gold! He did a good job on special teams and had those two great plays in the Desert when we beat the Cardinals!

I think the Skins are fortunate that someone else (like another NFC East team) didn't come along and sign this guy.

I was, shall we say, a bit dismayed when he was cut loose.

No doubt, one of the best performers on ST that we've had in years.

Welcome back, Kotter. I mean Kato.

special teams whiners can relax now. You got Mason and Serwanga back this week and no doubt we will look to upgrade the punter spot where 37 year old Bryan Barker looks as if he might have hit the end of the road here.

It's signings like this one that win close games in November because guys like Serwanga, though only on the field part of the time, get critical turnovers or pin opposing teams deep in their territory, etc. It represents an upturn in the Snyder-era front office's learning curve. I'm glad we're finally getting smart.

Great move!!

I too was BUMMED when we let him go. Now we get him back AND save a few bucks? Looks like our front office has learned some leasons.

Think the media might pick up on this? Me niether!

This is so great. Especially since we dropped Bates. We have 2 money gunners in Terrell and Serwanga, and an all-around solid special teamer/OLB depth guy in Mason. It's pretty damn difficult to fault the front office moves so far. We didnt have a ton of room to manuever, but we're successfully pinching pennies while still holding on to the guys who are important to us. The only things that remain to be seen involve what happens in the draft vis a vis QB/OG/DT, and consequently, what we do after that in the spots we dont hit.
