cuchip703
I haven't read anything about Patten in the papers or seen anything on the web. I thought I saw him come out of the Cowboy game holding his hamstring. Then I saw Jacobs go down again (read that he is fine). With the offense still struggling (hopefully the last 5 minutes from Monday will wake them up), does it worry anyone that we only carry 4 WR on this team, one of which can't seem to stay healthy. ntotoro
Jacobs was uninjured all of last year. He wasn't injured last Monday and turned out fine. Patten had a cramp and was uninjured. Although we technically have four WR's, we have other players who can catch (Portis & Cooley) and one WR on the practice squad, FWIW.
Leonard Washington
patten had some nice catches in the bears game, but it seemed in the cowboys game brunell was intent on getting him decapitated. it seemed about of the 2-3 passes he threw at patten there were 2-3 defenders who got a free shot on him. i almost reminds me of the beating we put coles through last preseason. G-Prime
I'd like to see more 3 and 4 WR sets.. Sure they can blitz us, quick slant hot route will beat that.. But make those guys back off the line and give Clinton a chance to run
Vegas-Born
We have had two weeks to prepare for this game against the Seahawks. They should be prepared to make a few plays. The WR should be crisp and the timing with Brunel should be solid. Hopefully Patten will bennefit from this. It won't matter who of the four is in there...Go SKins

Patten leaving the field in the MNF game was reportedly due to "Cramps" so I think he is fine now.
Fifty Gut
Patten was open on those TD plays of Moss, so I expect good things from him this week
RDSKNfaithfull
Patten wasn't injured he just got his bell rung L.C. was a tough s.o.b. everybody can't go over the middle and take lick after lick and pop back up Jacobs was faking it to buy us some time;)

jrfriedm
Hopefully Jacobs and Patten will be fine. I think now the passing game will start to open a bit, and hopefully we will make them pay for doubling Moss.
PIT BULL
WR depth was an issue as soon as I saw the final roster~ Why do we have 4 running backs? Are we trading Portis, or is our special teams that depleted? We don't need NEMO - but could have used 6'2" veteran WR Kevin Dyson.
Darth Tater
If we had 5 wr, unless the number 5 is our primary returner, the 5th wide would be inactive anyway. So our plan to deal with an injury situation in games is to use Cooley as a WR, he lines up as a WR in about 25-30% of our plays anyway. BTW, I know we went 4 wides at least 4 times v. Dallas (although Cooley was the 4 wide every-time). It was his skinny post that set up our first TD Monday night and last year he was the one that set up Jacobs to get that long pass versus Minnesota. More Complete
Do guys really "fake it"? That's crazy if they do. I never thought about that.
Leonard Washington
Do guys really "fake it"? That's crazy if they do. I never thought about that. i've seen it done on other levels so i would imagine its done in the pros also. i think its done so much that the league makes you take a TO if a player is hurt in the last 2min and you have timeouts left. jnhay
Who's on the practice squad? Would we have someone that we could use as a 4th WR if someone did get injured, or would we have to go get someone?
spanishomelette
They have WR Rich Parson on the PS who looked good with returns...Maybe they kept Jimmy Farris' number after that last Raven's game. Oh yeah...Antonio Brown is out there somewhere wondering what's next for himself.
RedskinLifer
I would think that they'll pick up a WR once we no longer need Novak and Hall is healthy again. That frees up a roster spot for a receiver, if they want one.

Chachie
Jacobs was uninjured all of last year. Nick- Are you sure about this? I seem to remember he WAS hurt last season. I am beginning to assume he's hurt ALL the time and I NEVER expect to see him available.

s0crates
Hello!?!?!? No mention of James Thrash. He has great hands, blocks downfeild, and gives 110% every down. Patten also has good hands and experience. Moss, well we know about him. Our corps is OK. Our QBs, however, are not.
