Art
The thing you see is the Cowboys are almost always in excellent coverage. We're not getting them at all in the wrong defense. Brunell often has absolutely no where to go with the ball. It's very frustrating.
Ignatius J.
I would agree. gibbs does seem completely outclassed here.

Ghost of
Every week that we play with Brunell under center, we're going to face the #1 defense in the league. Just like last year. It's so GD obvious. We were FINE on offense last week. Until....

Art
Actually, the line is controlling the line of scrimmage. Bear in mind Dallas is loading up with consistent six man fronts. This is our life until we can string three or four positive plays in a row out of the passing game.

nneece
You can't blame this on Dallas's excellent defense. It's our petrid offense. Any D looks good when they play against an inept offense.

dfbovey
One thing that's clear, is that our offense isn't the type that will impose it's will on anyone this year. And THAT is frustrating.
Art
No, we are this bad. That's partially true. The Cowboys have had several players step up and make big plays. They are playing well.

Ignatius J.
Gibbs is completely befuddled by what the cowboys are doing. His team looks lost out there. I don't blame them.

Brunell often has absolutely no where to go with the ball. It's very frustrating. Don't hand me that. Dallas is doing nothing exceptional. What's frustrating is the complete lack of aggression on the part of the offensive playcalling. The San Diego Chargers hung up 24 points on this same defense WITHOUT their all-world pass catching Tight End. Think of what we could do if our QB could throw it further, or, if our Coach would allow him to throw it further. We have all our entire offensive arsenal at our disposal. And nothing. 4 yard dump offs.

gibbsteam
Brunell is scared and coach is afraid to open this up....he wont look past 15 yards.......they are playing to not lose and praying for our Defence to score for us.....this is sad....I cant believe how flat our men on the offensive side of the ball look....WAKE THE F ..... UP!

9_to_42_td
This display of football is not only pitiful its down right embarrassing. Why does Burnell always roll to his right when he is left handed. Maybe its the heat guys. I dred seeing all those cowpuke fans at work. Think i'll bang in sick. Aluadan
The thing you see is the Cowboys are almost always in excellent coverage. We're not getting them at all in the wrong defense. Brunell often has absolutely no where to go with the ball. It's very frustrating. That's simply not true, Brunell simply has no clue when it comes to throwing the ball downfield. There have been plenty of quick replays showing guys running open that he just didn't throw it too. This is just the 2004 all over again with Brunell's huge 100 yards per game and helping the other team score more points then he does for the Skins. People realized the disaster that was giving Brunell the starting job and it couldn't be anymore clear after the Dallas game. I suppose if Gibbs wants to keep losing and really just throwing away good defensive performances, that's certainly what he gets with Brunell. Art
Brunell has certainly done nothing, no question. But, what's more evident this week seeing plays develop is just how completely well prepared the Cowboys are in that there just isn't anywhere to go hardly ever. Not sure what happened when Brunell passed to Patten but, other than that, there's really been nothing wide open since earlier in the game. That's frustrating. It would be more comforting to know you simply lack a trigger man capable of making completions. But, here, it's that the offense is totally figured out. That's a feeling you like a lot less as you imagine it being somewhat harder to correct.
