LoGiK Posted August 27, 2005 Share Posted August 27, 2005 Did any of you hear his comment when they were showing Redskins fans and they did a close up of this muscular guy with big triceps dressed as a hog, and hes like "no, no hes not a hog hes too in shape" and then the camera closed in on a guy dressed as a hog that was totally over-weight sucking down some hotdogs and Aikmans like "ya-yahhh thats what im talking about" AHAHAHAHA I was laughing so hard :laugh: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not only are his observations solid, he's loosing up and having some fun and most importantly he's not a Madden/Millen wannabe that seems to be all that FOX employs. I am with you on this one. I used to like him but now I just get so tired of his comments and voice by mid-game I have to fight back muting my TV. They're probably up there for best overall commentary team for any sport. Getting rid of Collinsworth was like us getting rid of Coles and Gardner. They are the deffinition of die hard fans. That and the fact we have our own friggin band. Anyone else have that besides the Ravens? Fox has a bunch of unbearable announcers in its camp, but Aikman's insights always seem to be spot on, and he's never over the top. Not bad for a Cowboy. I know you all are going to hate me for saying this but like I said in another thread, I'd rather hear Aikman than Theisman. Joe tries to hard not to sound like a homer. I hate Joe Buck though, always have always will. He's a lousy announcer but for some reason he's gets first dibs on everything fox does.
