Ford Explorer: Should I or shouldn't I?

Ford does have a certified used car program. It's optional for dealers to participate.

I just sold my wife's 2003 Explorer and got her a new 2005

Explorer. Her's only had 16K miles, but with the current incentives I had to pull the trigger. Actually we lowered our

payment and I upgraded.

Listen, I'm around these vehicles all day long. The Explorer is

a great and trouble free vehicle. Sold my neighbor a 2004 and

my sister has one as well.

My wife wouldn't even consider any other vehicle....except maybe

a F250 Crew Cab Lariat Diesel 4X4.

PM me if you have specific model questions or current market

prices.

I've had Ford's for a while and have had great luck with them.

Definately contact riggins44, he'll take care of you.

My wife and I purchased a Freestar from him and it has been the BEST car experience I've ever had. He's first class all the way.

 You have to say nice things, because I know where

your wife works.

Speaking of Melanie, did she tell you I talked to her Sunday? I told her that you'll need to buy the baby a guitar when it's born.

If there is anything else you need let me know...will work on a

kitchen pass for you. :D

LOL... yeah, she said she saw you and said you mentioned the baby's name again.

FYI, We are open to selling the naming rights.

For a new Ford F-250 crew cab 4x4, we will gladly name our new kid Gary or Garise.

Hey Skins Fans,

I want a Ford Explorer but I can't afford a new one. I'm looking to buy a used Explorer. Probably '03 or '04.

I bought a used explorer sport back in 2000 a 1998 with 66K miles on it now it has 145K and i love it, the only things i had to replace were the transfer case (didn't put in 4wd enough) and the AC, everything else has been great, same tires since i bought it.

You take a risk on any used car, so just watch out, even though every care I buy from now on will be used because it is much cheapier.

Dont do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My freind and Military buddy bought an 04 and has nothing but problems with it.

The rear axle bolt came out and he last control on 695. He said it felt like it was steering itself. He went into a ditch. He had to replace it and it was I believe over $800. to repair.

He is pissed because the same side went out last week and his wife was driving through town and she said the samething that it steered itself.

He was so pissed nobody wanted to look him in the face.

Maybe he had a lemon and it is man made, but the same side, Come on!!!!!!!

Nooooooooooo!!!

yes, it is an awsome car, you'll be happy with it. Look around, you will see that anyother cars like it are junk. GREAT value, everything you could want, space, comfort, toughness, and some nice power.

Go for it, go with your gut, just don't let the dealer screw yah.

Most of the written replies are positive, the poll is mostly negative. I'm going to go with my gut and try to get one. As far as not letting the dealer screw me, thats easier said than done. But, you can't get blood from a turnip.

Dealer's reply: Wanna bet?
