I wouldn't be against the combine, for the vast majority of QB prospects it serves as a great platform, alongside the Pro Days. But for the select few who are in a position to not need the boost a combine would bring (the Williams, Maye and Daniels of the world) there just aint much reason to do it.

Caleb didn't even get a shape up b4 the combine. He's 2 steps away from hobo in that pick with a smile as wide as a canyon. Dude truly gave zero Fs. (rightfully so, he's going #1)

Those Simms videos were very educational. They really pick up on some stuff. Things I did not see myself, but going back with that information, you definitely see it.

It was short but sweet. I liked that you could not have had a better person stress to him the need for him to get much better at getting down at he end of runs. Colt was made of glass lol. If he is telling you that you should probably listen. Plus he did it in the nicest way possible. Not how I woulda handled it, but whatevs. And to his credit Drake echoed the sentiment. At least I know he understands the logic. Now we gotta see it more consistently in practice.

It also makes sense for him not to work out when they can save it for a pro day. At least these guys are getting measured. As just a guy, I can say, "these two prospects are really close and separating them is just splitting hairs." NFL teams will attempt to split those hairs.

I get not working out, he has nothing to gain, but no measurements?! Why even show up at that point. You can just do the zoom interview and save yourself the time and hassle of going to Indy.

If you don't watch the entirety of the above video, at least watch the first play and its breakdown There is a lot involved with being a QB, and just because a throw is thrown to the first read and the the QB never comes off of him does not mean there is nothing of NFL value to draw from it.

Football schools Its not hard to find videos that showcase a production crew filming Jayden at a various points throughout the season. We learn more about him and are exposed to his life. It comes w/ the territory of playing at a place like LSU. Drake went to UNC. Not quite the same coverage.

I don't think there is an issue at the moment, I think the guy is just waving a warning flag about where that situation is likely headed in the future. Outside of when you first acquire said player, if you have to tweet out who your QB1 or franchise QB is, its more an exercise in convincing yourself rather than anyone else. and if you are in a position where you have to convince yourself... it probably does not end in fairytale fashion. I don't think anything is going to happen w/ Ariz and Kyler in the near future tho. Oh, and as tempting as Kyler + MHJ would be, I'd pass on the trade. I don't think anyone is interested in reuniting a failed relationship.
